New craft chicken restaurant to open 5 locations around Indianapolis area

DENVER — Indiana is getting another restaurant option, and this one is for the chicken sandwich fans.
Birdcall, a Colorado-based craft chicken brand, is bringing five new restaurants to the Indianapolis area.
The agreement revolves around the greater Indianapolis area, and according to the restaurant chain, they’re selecting sites “in the Carmel-Fishers-Westfield corridor” and considering more in the “southern portion of the metro area.”
The menu features eight types of chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, gluten-free chicken nuggets and salads. According to the company, the restaurants use “all-natural chicken” and serves sides like fries, tater tots, loaded tots and slaws.
The restaurant also features milkshakes, draft beer and house-made margaritas.
The exact locations of the restaurants have not been announced for the Indianapolis area.
The first location is about to open in Mississippi, and more are planned for Idaho.
Birdcall said the goal is to have as many as 200 locations nationwide by the end of 2028.
