Colorado-based chicken sandwich chain planning to open new restaurants in Indiana
New locations are planned for Indianapolis, Bloomington, Evansville and Fort Wayne.
INDIANAPOLIS — A Colorado-based chicken sandwich chain has announced plans to expand into the Midwest, with over a dozen restaurants planned for Indiana.
Birdcall, a fast-casual franchise based out of Denver, announced plans to open nearly 100 new locations across six states by 2031. The company’s initial efforts will focus on expansion over the next five years in Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin.

The chain plans to open 10-15 restaurants across the Hoosier state, with Indianapolis expected to have between six to eight new locations. Bloomington and Evansville will get at least one to two new locations while the Fort Wayne area is expected to open two to three new restaurants.
Birdcall’s menu features eight signature chicken sandwiches, hand-cut chicken tenders, gluten-free chicken nuggets and “chef-inspired” salads paired with sides such as fries, tater tots and slaws.

Currently, Birdcall operates 17 restaurants across Colorado, Arizona and Texas. A specific timetable for when the restaurants will open in Indiana was not given in the press release.
